Materials

Look for non-porous, body-safe materials: medical/body-safe silicone, ABS plastic, glass or stainless steel. Avoid jelly, PVC or toys that smell strongly of chemicals; porous materials can harbour bacteria.

Lube compatibility

Water-based lube works with everything, including silicone toys. Silicone-based lube can degrade some silicone toys, so patch-test or stick to water-based. Oil-based lube is fine with glass/steel but not ideal with latex.

Cleaning & care

Wash before and after use with warm water and mild unscented soap or a toy cleaner. Don't submerge unless it's waterproof. Dry fully and store in a pouch, apart from other toys.
